Agent Purchase Service

Many overseas customers want to buy from Chinese platforms or local suppliers but face language barriers, payment restrictions or logistics challenges. VerityFlow’s Agent Purchase Service helps you place orders from China in a compliant and transparent way.

We act as your buying agent, not as the manufacturer or original seller. Our role is to help you communicate with sellers, place orders in China and coordinate shipping and related services from our warehouse.

  1. What this service covers

Under the Agent Purchase Service, VerityFlow can:

  • Receive your purchase request (links, product specs, target quantities, target price).
  • Communicate with sellers in Chinese on your behalf (availability, MOQ, colours, sizes, basic technical information).
  • Place orders with selected sellers in China using our local payment methods.
  • Arrange domestic shipping from sellers to our warehouse.
  • Combine this with our Standard Services (inbound checks, warehousing, repacking, shipping) and, if requested, Pro Services (sampling, detailed QC, documentation, etc.).

This service does not change the fact that the underlying contract of sale for the goods is between you and the original seller. VerityFlow acts as an agent helping you to execute that purchase and to coordinate related logistics.

  1. How the Agent Purchase Service works

2.1 Purchase request

Please send us a list of goods you wish to source in China, along with product links or supplier information. You submit a request through our designated form (or ticket or email), providing:

  • product links (for example Taobao, 1688, JD, brand websites or supplier quotations),
  • required specifications (model, colour, size, options),
  • quantity and desired delivery time,
  • any special notes (for example packaging, labels, documents).

2.2 Quotation

Based on the information you provide, we will summarise the expected costs, typically including:

  • product price quoted by the seller,
  • estimated domestic shipping to our warehouse,
  • VerityFlow agent service fee according to the current Standard Service Price List, and
  • an estimate of onward logistics costs (international shipping, duties, etc.) where applicable.

This quotation is for your reference only and may change if the seller updates prices, shipping or other conditions before we actually place the order.

2.3 Prepayment

Before we place any order with a seller, you must pre authorise and settle:

  • 100 percent of the product cost and domestic shipping estimate; and
  • the applicable VerityFlow agent service fee.

Product cost and domestic shipping are usually settled by bank transfer or other offline methods, as stated in our quotation. Our service fee may be paid via our supported online payment methods where appropriate. Online card payments are mainly used for VerityFlow service fees, not for large product or freight amounts.

2.4 Order placement with the seller

  • After your required payments are received, VerityFlow will place the order with the seller as your agent.
  • Once the order has been successfully placed with the seller, the order is generally not cancellable or changeable, except where the seller or platform rules allow changes. Any change or cancellation may result in extra costs, which are your responsibility.

2.5 Goods arrive at our warehouse

  • The seller ships the goods to our warehouse.
  • When the goods arrive, we:
    • register the inbound shipment,
    • perform basic checks according to the Standard Service you have selected (for example visual check, quantity check), and
    • store the goods under your account.
  • You may order additional Pro Services (sampling inspection, function tests, documentation, etc.) according to the Pro Service Price List.

2.6 International forwarding and final delivery

  • When you are ready to ship, you can choose a forwarding method and destination.
  • International freight, duties, taxes and third party fees are billed separately according to the chosen shipping option and destination country rules.
  1. Service fees and cost structure

The Agent Purchase Service involves the following main cost components:

3.1 Product cost and domestic shipping

  • The amount charged by the seller for the goods and domestic freight to our warehouse.
  • These amounts are set by the seller or platform, not by VerityFlow.

3.2 VerityFlow agent service fee

  • A service fee charged by VerityFlow for acting as your purchasing agent (communication, ordering, payment, coordination).
  • The specific fee (fixed fee per order and or percentage of the product amount) is stated in our current Standard Service Price List or in the quotation we send you.

3.3 Standard and Pro Services

  • Any inbound inspection, warehousing, repacking, outbound processing and Pro Services are charged separately according to the Standard and Pro Service Price Lists or relevant subscriptions.

3.4 International logistics and customs

  • International shipping costs, customs duties, VAT or sales tax and brokerage fees are not included in the agent purchase fee and will be billed separately as applicable.

3.5 Bank fees and currency conversion

  • Any bank charges, payment processing fees or currency conversion differences between your payment currency and CNY (or other currencies used with the seller) may be passed on to you.
  1. Funds handling and limitations

VerityFlow is not a bank, payment institution or money service business. We do not provide currency exchange, general remittance, stored value accounts or escrow between third parties.

Any payments you make to VerityFlow are limited to:

  • our own service fees for agent purchasing, warehousing, inspection and forwarding; and
  • where explicitly agreed, paying product and domestic shipping costs to sellers for your own orders.

We do not collect or hold funds for unrelated third parties, and we do not allow transfers between different customer accounts.

Larger product and freight amounts may be required to be paid by bank transfer or other offline methods for security and compliance reasons. Online card and similar payment methods are mainly used for smaller, standardised service fees and consultation packages.

  1. Order changes, cancellation and refunds

Before we place the order with the seller:

  • If you ask to cancel or change your request, we will try to accommodate it.
  • We may charge a reasonable handling fee for work already performed, for example repeated quotations and communication.

After we place the order with the seller:

  • Orders are generally non cancellable and non refundable, because sellers may not accept cancellations or refunds.
  • If the seller or platform allows cancellation or partial refund, any refund will be:
    • subject to the seller’s rules and deadlines, and
    • passed on to you after deducting any charges (including our reasonable handling fees and any non refundable agent service fees already earned).

Seller out of stock or cannot ship:

  • If the seller cannot supply the goods (for example out of stock or order rejected), we will:
    • attempt to obtain a refund from the seller, and
    • pass the refunded amount back to you, minus any non recoverable costs (such as platform fees, exchange losses, or necessary handling costs).
  1. Product quality, inspection and limitations
  • VerityFlow is not the manufacturer or original seller of the goods. We do not design, produce or label the products.
  • Unless you specifically order additional inspection services, we generally only perform basic checks (such as parcel condition and item count).
  • Even where you order inspections, all inspections are sample based and subject to the limitations described in our Standard and Pro Service descriptions. Inspections do not guarantee that all defects or issues will be detected.

You remain responsible for:

  • choosing the seller and product (unless we explicitly recommend a supplier under a separate service),
  • verifying that the product’s specifications, certifications and intended use are suitable for your country, and
  • complying with any regulatory requirements in the destination market (for example safety standards, labelling, certifications).
  1. Customs, compliance and prohibited items
  • We only act as your agent for goods that are lawful under applicable laws in the country of origin, transit and destination.
  • We cannot act as an agent for:
    • prohibited or restricted items under local, EU, UK or US law or under carrier rules (for example weapons, explosives, hazardous chemicals, drugs, counterfeit products, certain batteries, etc.),
    • goods that infringe third party intellectual property rights.
  • You must ensure that your requested products are legally compliant and that you have the right to import and sell them in your destination markets.

If we reasonably believe that goods are illegal, dangerous or non compliant, we may refuse or stop the Agent Purchase Service and may take any action required by law (including reporting to authorities), without liability for losses caused by such refusal.

  1. Environmental note

Whenever possible, we encourage responsible purchasing and inventory planning to reduce waste. If you no longer need some of the products purchased through this service, you may choose to use our Recycling Assistance Service to explore environmentally friendly disposal options such as reuse, resale or recycling (where available).

  1. Liability
  • To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, VerityFlow’s total liability for any loss or damage arising out of or in connection with the Agent Purchase Service in any one order is limited to the amount of the VerityFlow service fee actually received by us for that order, excluding the product cost and third party charges.
  • VerityFlow is not liable for:
    • indirect, incidental, consequential or punitive damages,
    • loss of profit, revenue, business, contracts, or data,
    • losses caused by product defects, delays, seller actions or omissions, customs inspections, carrier delays or force majeure events.
  • Nothing in this description limits any liability that cannot be limited under the laws that apply to you.
  1. Governing terms

This Agent Purchase Service description forms part of the VerityFlow Service Terms, the Privacy Notice and the applicable Standard and Pro Service Price Lists. In case of any conflict between this description and the VerityFlow Service Terms, the Service Terms shall prevail.

By requesting the Agent Purchase Service and paying the corresponding fees, you confirm that you have read and agree to this description and the VerityFlow Service Terms.
